The verified quote factors are scope, access, property location, disposal requirements, volume, weight, and schedule. A few clear photos are normally the starting point, and a walkthrough may be requested when the photos do not show enough. Weed whacking and basic lawn trimming are quoted for their own scope; green-waste hauling, disposal, heavy brush, junk removal, appliance removal, cleanouts, and larger multi-service cleanups are separately quoted. The quote should identify what work and hauling are approved before anything is scheduled.
Why there is no responsible island-wide flat price
A property-cleanup request can describe very different work: a single photographed load, items inside a home, yard material, an appliance with stairs, or several cleanup tasks across a property. A flat number given without those details could include the wrong work or leave important handling and disposal questions unanswered.
Maui Property Rescue therefore confirms a scope-specific quote before scheduling. This is a private paid cleanup and hauling service, not County of Maui refuse collection or transfer-station information. County fees or self-haul options are not the company’s service price.
The seven published quote factors
Each factor answers a different scoping question. Supplying all seven does not guarantee that photos will be sufficient, but it gives the estimator a clearer starting point.

Scope means more than the name of the service
“Property cleanup” can combine separately approved yard or exterior cleanup, junk or appliance removal, cleanouts, qualifying minor upkeep, and related hauling. The useful question is not only which service label fits; it is which rooms, outdoor areas, piles, items, and tasks are in the requested scope.
Send a wide view of every area, useful close-ups, and a short written list. If some items must remain, identify them clearly. If hauling or disposal is requested, say so rather than assuming it is included. Only the tasks and materials listed in the approved quote should be treated as part of the job.
Access needs to be visible before scheduling
Access is a published pricing factor for cleanup, junk removal, and appliance removal. Photos should show the route from the material to the loading area. Include stairs, narrow doors, gates, elevators, long carries, parking limitations, and any access instructions that apply to the property.
An item photographed by itself does not show whether it is inside, upstairs, behind a locked gate, or far from legal loading access. Showing the removal path helps define the work that is actually being reviewed. It also reduces the risk that an important access condition is discovered only after a scope has been discussed.
Material type, volume, weight, and disposal are connected
A clear material inventory matters because disposal rules and available facilities differ by material. Maui County publishes separate landfill and recycling information, and the State of Hawaiʻi regulates solid and hazardous waste. The County’s current facility information also identifies materials that are not accepted in ordinary landfill or recycling streams.

Regular service is offered across South Maui, Central Maui, West Maui, Upcountry Maui, and North Shore Maui. Hāna is not currently in the regular service area. Provide the property location rather than only a broad regional name so availability can be checked against the requested scope and schedule.
Same-day or next-day service is not guaranteed. Availability depends on the same practical factors used in the quote, including scope, access, location, disposal requirements, volume, weight, and schedule. A listing date, move-out milestone, or other requested timing should be stated as a request, not assumed to be confirmed until scheduling is agreed.
Read the quote by inclusions, add-ons, and exclusions
A useful comparison is based on the defined scope, not just a total. Check which areas and materials are included, whether loading and hauling are included, whether disposal requirements were reviewed, and which optional services are separate. Routine weed whacking or basic lawn trimming does not automatically include green-waste hauling, disposal, heavy brush, or a larger cleanup.
Also confirm what is outside the service boundary. Maui Property Rescue does not offer electrical, plumbing, gas, HVAC or refrigeration, roofing, structural, fire-protection, permit-required, hazardous-material, or other licensed-trade work. Those boundaries prevent a cleanup quote from being mistaken for a construction, inspection, or regulated-waste proposal.
A practical way to request a more complete quote
Start with two to five clear photos when available, the property location, access details, requested timing, and the service needed. Use at least one wide photo to show the whole scope, close-ups for material or condition details, and a photo of the access or removal path. Add a written list if several areas or services are involved.
The initial review may lead to follow-up questions or a walkthrough request. That is part of defining the scope, not a promise that every project can be priced from photos alone. The confirmed quote—not a general guide or a County disposal fee—is the relevant price for the requested private service.
